Santa Maria de Ginestar (10th, 11th and 17th centuries)
Santa Maria de Ginestar (10th, 11th and 17th centuries)
This parish church is documented from 1184, but its structure, with a lengthened semicircular apse, dates it further back in time, at the end of the 10th or beginning of the 11th century. In the 17th century the sacristy was added, as well as a chapel and the square bell tower, and the façade was also renovated. The façade is simple with a rectangular door, a rose window, with a Baroque cornice and two small pinnacles. By its side is the rectory, and 18th century building.
