Santa Maria de Granollers church (11th and 18th centuries)
Santa Maria de Granollers is the parish church of Granollers de Rocacorba. Mentioned in 1065, it seems that it was initially the chapel for Granollers castle. It was affected by the earthquakes in 1427-1428 and the current building is a Baroque construction from the 18th century, with a polygonal nave and apse. The main façade features the door, with a moulded and lowered arch, decorated with a Baroque frieze, a niche with an image of the Mother of God, and a rose window. The bell tower is square, and the walls feature embrasures for the purposes of defence. In front of the façade there is a small comunidor.
