History
The great character of the Vall de Llémena has been affected both by its unique geographical characteristics and its own particular history. Even today it is surprising that so close to the main city of Girona we can find twenty towns and villages that have been in existence for more than a thousand years and, surrounded by agriculture and woods, preserve a good part of their traditional features.
