Many people have written the history of this valley from a broad perspective of disciplines. Since the illustrious sons who left life to defend their land and freedom, like the remença Pere Joan Sala, until major families of nobles and landowners, including those of Margarit and Adri. Other children were excelled in the arts, science and education, leaving an important legacy to their heirs. Many of these people were born and lived in the valley while others, although there didn't have their cradle in the valley, were closely linked to and they left a significant imprint on the memory of this land.
