Remença Festival 2024

Remença Festival

The Remença festivity is a popular celebration that is organized every year in a different place of the Llémena Valley. The festival aims to promote the events and characters of the remença revolt, which happened in Catalonia in the fifteenth century and that was led by the farmers of the area against the medieval system.

Over 100 volunteers from the valley organise this festive celebration that includes elements created by the same people in the valley: folk dances, historical conferences, theatrical staging, medieval food...
