Granollers Castle (11th century)
Granollers de Rocacorba castle is in the middle of the Granollers plain, besides the Santa Maria church. Although it is documented in 1237, it surely existed from at least the 11th century, the time when feudal lords originated. It was the centre of the Granollers barony. It was notably remodelled during the 19th century, and it is still inhabited today as a farmhouse. The main body of the building is a large construction over three floors, distributed either side of a rectangular tower with five floors and a pitched roof. The main door is a lowered arch, and the windows are rectangular.
