Llorà

Llorà is located on the east of Sant Martí de Llémena. Llorà is a charming village, with items of archaeological interest such as the caves of Boratuna, belonging to the first years of metal, and the cave of Rocafesa, occupied during the Neolithic.

The St. Pere Parish Church is located next to the road Gi-531. This Romanesque building is well preserved and we know that its subsoil contains the remains of an older building, possibly Roman. Recently, a restoration has allowed to discover several Romanesque paintings.

Today Llorà is a village that has suffered a great urban transformation, with the proliferation of some well-built houses in the territory and the establishment of new agricultural buildings around the main axis of communication.
