Ginestar
Ginestar is a small town located about four kilometers from St. Gregori, north-west of the town. It is a very rugged area that is located to the right of Llémena stream. The etymological origin of Ginestar derives from Ginestario or Genestario, meaning a place with plenty of Ginesta (a plant). The parish church of St. Mary and the sanctuary of St. Afra are the main buildings of this village. The sanctuary of St. Afra crown the whole plan of St. Gregori and brings visitors to the excellence of the landscape of the Llémena valley. Very close to the sanctuary there is the chapel of Our Lady of Fatima.
