Constantins
Constantins is seven kilometers west of St. Gregori, near the villages of Bonmatí and St. Julià, on the left side of the river Ter. The name of Constantins reveals an ancient Roman settlement, that should have a roman leader called "Constantine."
In this village we can enjoy its landscape, with forests of oak and cork trees, as well as good agricultural land, although years ago the village has experienced a significant depopulation. The main assets of Constantins are the church of St. Vicens de Constantins (1182) and the Romanesque chapel of Santa Maria de Calders (twelfth century).
