Sant Aniol de Finestres

The village of Sant Aniol is located on the side of the high Llémena Valley, nestled at the foot of the cliffs of Finestres and surrounded by dense oak woods that cover the hillsides. The contrast between the dark green forest and pale green over the fields, with the silvery tones of the trees bordering the stream Llémena form a landscape of exceptional beauty. Sant Aniol is the historical center of the municipality, where the X century Romanesque church surrounds the old town. From the village of Sant Aniol, crossing the bridge over the Llémena stream, there is a few routes leading to the castle of Finestres, and the villages of Bustins, Mieres and Amer.
