Sant Gregori is the first entry to the Vall de Llémena, just seven kilometers from Girona. With 49.2 km2 is the largest of the four municipalities in the valley. In Sant Gregori we find seven villages: Sant Gregori, where there is the Town Hall, and the villages of Taialà, Domeny, Ginestar, Cartellà, Sant Medir and Constantins. The Llémena stream crosses the municipality, leaving to the west, a mountainous area which leads to the mountain of Sant Grau (449 m.)
The diversity of villages in the municipality of Sant Gregori offers a mosaic of landscapes rather preserved from the human hand, bucolic and diversified, with a high presence of fields drained by streams and Mediterranean forests. A landscape irrigated by a network of paths that invite us to know closely the rich cultural heritage of the valley.
