El Dolmen de la Mota ( Neolític final 2500-2200 aC )

This megalithic monument was discovered and excavated in 1975. With its origins in the Late Neolithic period, it was used as a burial site throughout the Bronze Age, until 700 BC. It comprises a burial area with a covered gallery and a stone placed crossways at the end of the chamber. The internal dimensions are 4m in length and 1.60m in width. The archaeological dig allowed the recovery of many human and animal remains, fragments of ceramics and 29 parts of a stone necklace.
